Singles By Fela Raymond

Singles is a Polaroid collection spanning from 2016 to 2022, capturing artists, musicians, photographers, and fashion designers in defining moments along their paths. This series includes early portraits of talents like Cardi B and Lil Uzi, taken before their rise to mainstream fame. Each Polaroid provides a candid glimpse into the unguarded, authentic beginnings of creatives who have since made their mark.

In collaboration with designer and illustrator Gino Dal Cin, we’ve woven these stories together. Through Gino’s illustrations and my narrative, Singles brings to life the moments and memories tied to each image, preserving the essence of these artists’ journeys before recognition. This zine serves as a tribute to the origins of those who were on the cusp of greatness.
